Services — AI & Digital Transformation

Digital transformation consulting that ties every dollar to an outcome.

For businesses with $1M+ in revenue, the first win is usually savings: when we audit operations, we almost always find thousands of dollars a month in time, tools and lost revenue that process optimization and AI can recover. Then we build it. Adopt what pays. Skip what doesn’t.

01 — The problem

Most AI projects stall before the first real workflow.

Why transformation fails

Every vendor now sells AI, and every board is asking what the company is doing about it. The result is a pile of pilots, licenses and demos, and very little change in how work actually gets done, or in the numbers.

Transformation fails for predictable reasons: technology is chosen before the problem is defined, processes are automated before they are fixed, nobody owns adoption, and success is never measured against a business outcome.

We work the other way round. We start with the processes where time and money leak (sales follow-up, reporting, content production, customer service, operations), put a number on the opportunity, and only then decide what to build, buy or change. Digital transformation that pays for itself is mostly disciplined process improvement, with the right technology in the right places.

02 — What's included

From diagnosis to adoption.

01 — Readiness assessment

Know where you stand.

A structured look at your processes, data, systems and team: where AI and automation can help today, what needs fixing first, and what isn’t worth doing yet.

02 — Process improvement

Fix the process before you automate it.

Business process mapping and redesign for the workflows that matter most, from sales process optimization to reporting and operations, with time and cost baselines.

03 — AI strategy

A business case for every use case.

Prioritized AI and digital opportunities, each with expected value, cost, risk and owner. A short list you can fund, not a long list of ideas.

04 — Tool & vendor evaluation

Buy what fits. Skip what doesn’t.

Independent evaluation of platforms, AI tools and vendors against your requirements, budget and existing stack, including build-versus-buy decisions.

05 — Implementation

Pilots that turn into production.

Phased roadmaps, then hands-on implementation: AI automations, integrations and agents built and measured on one workflow at a time, often on our own platform, InfluenceLayer.

06 — Adoption & training

Change people actually use.

Training, playbooks and change management so new tools become the way work is done, with adoption and outcome metrics tracked after launch.

03 — How it works

Diagnose, prioritize, prove, scale.

Weeks 1–3

Diagnose

Interviews, process mapping and a readiness assessment, with baselines for time, cost and quality and a monthly savings estimate.

Weeks 3–5

Prioritize

A ranked roadmap of opportunities with business cases, owners and success metrics. You decide what to fund.

Weeks 5–12

Prove

One or two pilots implemented on real workflows and measured against the baseline.

Ongoing

Scale & adopt

Roll out what worked, train teams, retire what didn’t, and keep measuring.

04 — The savings

Where the savings come from.

The money is rarely in one big project. It is in hours of manual work, leads that slip through and tools nobody uses. Here is how the math typically adds up for a business with $1M+ in revenue.

Manual admin

Data entry, chasing documents, scheduling, copy-pasting between systems

15 staff hours a week × $35/hour ≈ $2,275 / month

Missed and slow responses

Calls and inquiries that go unanswered after hours or wait too long

5 lost jobs a month × $400 average job ≈ $2,000 / month in revenue

Manual reporting

Owners and managers building the same spreadsheets every week

6 manager hours a month × $80/hour ≈ $480 / month

Overlapping software

Subscriptions that duplicate each other or that nobody uses

2–4 redundant tools ≈ $200–600 / month

Illustrative example, not client data. Together, these add up to about $5,000 a month in this example. Your audit puts real numbers on your business.

05 — Proof

We run it on our own business first.

Example — our own lead generation

A proprietary AI pipeline replaced our manual prospecting.

It finds qualified businesses, evaluates their websites and prepares a personalized proposal for each one. A person reviews every proposal before anything is sent. The method is proprietary; the results are not.

06 — Example engagements

Examples of what we build.

Two typical engagements, described by scope. Client details stay confidential, and the implementation methods are proprietary.

Law firm — practice operations

An AI command center for an estate planning practice.

The problem: Attorneys and staff spent hours chasing documents, answering status questions and tracking matters across several systems.

  • Client portal with automated document collection and missing-document reminders
  • AI assistant for routine client questions, escalating anything legal to staff
  • Matter status tracking visible to staff and clients
  • Lead follow-up, consultation scheduling and reminders
  • AI-prepared matter and intake summaries, and template-based drafts for attorney review
  • A daily briefing and mobile view of what needs attention

Built with attorney approval workflows and human review of all work product. First phase: about 6–8 weeks.

Home services — intake & dispatch

AI operations for a growing service-dispatch business.

The problem: The owner answered every call, qualified every job and dispatched every technician, which capped growth.

  • 24/7 AI-assisted call intake and qualification, in English and Spanish
  • Service-area checks, urgency triage and routing to the right technician
  • A CRM and operations dashboard with full job tracking
  • Missed-call recovery, confirmations, reminders and review requests
  • Phased path to subcontractors and multi-region dispatch

Designed in phases, starting with removing the owner bottleneck. First phase: about 4–8 weeks.

We build with AI, not just advise on it.

We built InfluenceLayer, our own AI platform that tracks how AI systems describe and recommend brands, and we run AI automation across our own operations. Our recommendations come from shipping, not from slides.

07 — FAQ

Digital transformation consulting, answered.

What does a digital transformation consultant do?

A digital transformation consultant helps a business decide how to use technology, including AI, to improve how it operates and competes. In practice that means assessing current processes and systems, identifying where technology creates real value, building the business case, selecting tools and vendors, and guiding implementation and adoption so the change sticks.

How much can digital transformation save my business?

It depends on your size and processes, but for businesses with $1M+ in revenue our audits almost always find savings of thousands of dollars a month. They come from manual admin hours, missed or slow responses to leads, manual reporting and overlapping software. The audit puts a dollar figure on each opportunity before you invest in anything.

Who is digital transformation consulting for?

It is best suited to businesses with roughly $1M or more in annual revenue, where manual processes, staff time and missed opportunities add up to meaningful monthly costs. Smaller businesses can still benefit from a few targeted automations.

What is the difference between digital transformation and AI consulting?

AI consulting focuses on where and how to use artificial intelligence. Digital transformation is broader: it covers processes, systems, data, people and ways of working, of which AI is now often the most important part. We treat AI as one tool within a transformation that is judged by business outcomes.

Do you only advise, or do you also implement?

Both. We start with diagnosis and a roadmap, then implement pilots and automations ourselves or alongside your team and vendors. A recommendation is only useful if it can be implemented and measured.

How do you decide which AI tools are worth adopting?

We start from the process and the outcome, not the tool. Each candidate use case gets a business case: the time or cost it saves or the revenue it creates, what it costs to implement and run, the risks, and who owns it. Only use cases that clear that bar get piloted, and only pilots that beat the baseline get scaled.

How long does a digital transformation engagement take?

A readiness assessment and prioritized roadmap typically take three to five weeks. First pilots usually follow within the next two months. Larger programs run in phases, each with its own measurable goal.

Do you work with small and mid-sized businesses?

Yes. Many of the highest-return opportunities are in small and mid-sized businesses, where a few well-chosen automations in sales follow-up, scheduling, reporting or customer service free up hours every week. The approach scales to the size of the business.
